3 Recipes in 1!
This easiest of recipes evolves into 3!chocolate/orange GANACHE for cake filling
- 100g dark Chocolate
- 75mls Bitter Orange Splash
- Microwave ingredients for 1 1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 secs.
- Cool (but don't chill) Spread or use as filling on plain sponge or chocolate cake and chill.
FOR rich CHOCOLATE ORANGE POTS - brilliant desserts!
Makes 6. Recipe as above - use attractive individual coffee cups.- When cooled but not chilled, beat 4 egg yolks and stir well into mixture.
- Whip 200 mls cream and fold in. Pour into cups and chill for at least 2 hrs in fridge.
- Serve with a little extra Bitter Orange splashed over the top.
- Decorate with shaved chocolate or slivers of fresh orange. Make this the day before!
CHOCOLATE ORANGE ICECREAM
Makes 6. Recipe as above.- Simply freeze above recipe in large or individual moulds (medium sized rubber cup cake moulds are excellent - just pop out icreams when you need them!).
- Serve splashed with a little extra Bitter Orange and shaved chocolate. Decadently smooth and rich!
