New Cumberland Sauce

A spiced sauce made with quince, oranges, a hint of ginger and Port wine – based on an 18th Century recipe with a fresh and modern twist. Serve hot or cold.

  • Traditionally served hot or cold with ham and venison. Also delicious with pork, chicken and lamb.
  • A fabulous BBQ sauce with sausages.
  • Serve with terrines and savoury pâtés (see our recipes).
  • Splash a little over vanilla ice cream – it really is very good and different.
